Centara Hotel Khon Kaen

At the moment the first 7 floors are in use and there is a special local (walk-in) promotion. Rooms looks good, although a bit to modern for my personal taste.

At the moment 3 out of the 5 (or 6) restaurants are open. The Globe serving a-la cart International food (but very asian/Thai oriented) and Ju Fang & Sui Sien serving both Chinese food. 

At the moment the swimming pool (and the pool side bar), the gym and the Spa are not operational yet, but it is in the planning to open within 1 month time.

There will be opening soon "The London Inn" serving snacks and international beers. And soon will be opening "Wok & Grill" restaurant serving international & fusion food.

Soon they also will have a huge convention centre, which I think will be one of the biggest in the Isaan (in an hotel).

Although they are hoping to open most of all things within 1 month time and all within this year I think it will still be an hard job as even the show-rooms have small details that are not yet 100% up to standard.

All together an good new hotel and restaurants for Khon Kaen and I am sure other hotels will loose customers.

Chang Noi

Web-site promotion start at 2300thb nett incl. ABF I believe (but just google for 'Centara Khon Kaen" and have a look). But they have a much better walk-in promotion for locals.

It is located a bit weird, just not on the main stream of KK city. But again have look at their web-site, I am sure there will be an map somewhere.
